Designed the Challenge score feature, which showcases the top users for a week/month on the app
National Fitness Campaign (NFC) aims at improving the user base for their best-in-class outdoor bodyweight circuit training system called the Fitness Court.
NFC partnered with Pepper Square to revamp the Fitness Court iOS & Android app UI and integrate new features and increase user engagement by gamification with the existing app on React Native.
The target was to go live before the Stanford University demo in California, which was scheduled in 3 weeks’ time, and ramp-up to achieve the vision of bringing free fitness to 200 cities by 2019.
Iterated multiple times on the My Stats section, as requirement and prioritization of section was changing.
Had to design the post in which the user achieves the level in the leaderboard after they take up multiple challenges throughout the week/month.

The business goals were aligned with the design and development viability to prioritise features for the Stanford University demo.
Prioritising modules from the new feature list helped to blitz-scale the product for the launch.
The Challenges page was redesigned to showcase user statistics of the existing trainees/fitness enthusiasts.
A personalised leaderboard was designed and developed for Stanford to filter out the top scorers either in close vicinity or across Fitness Court users. The feature was open to all after the release.
Once a user completes a challenge, a solution is developed where they can share their accomplishment over social media.
Gamification of the leaderboard and incentivising the user to interact with the app resulted in enhanced user experience and improved engagement.
The app was live 3 weeks before the Stanford University demo in California, and the audience praised it.
The app downloads increased by 40% after the fresh release.
A scoreboard system encouraged the users to take fitness challenges.
An Expertise-led solution to the existing design and development challenges helped to Blitzscale the idea.
The improved engagement and wider adoption are helping the team accelerate to achieve the vision of bringing free fitness to 200 cities by 2019.
